An original production cel and background from the Hanna Barbera animated series, "Astro and the Space Mutts" (1981-1982). Featuring Astro and Space Ace standing on large platforms in a circus tent, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the episode titled "The Greatest Show Off Earth" which aired on October 31, 1981. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 3.5"x1.5", the cel and background are in very good condition. The streaks visible in the scan are from the scanner and do not appear on the artwork.
